TriCIS secure prestigious Silver Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

In recognition of our continued commitment to the armed forces community, we are delighted to announce that TriCIS have received the prestigious Silver Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme acknowledges organisations that provide exceptional support to the armed forces community and align their corporate values with the Armed Forces Covenant.

In 2020, we made a pledge to support the armed forces community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant and quickly received the Bronze Award for our commitment to the cause. Since then, we have build on that original commitment by introducing new policies acknowledging the rights and requirements of serving reservists and veterans, as well as helping individuals and groups achieve their ambitions within the forces by offering sponsorship and mentorship opportunities.

Our CEO, Antony Summerfield says, “We are incredibly proud to support the armed forces community and are committed to delivering respect, support and fair treatment to all those who serve,  who have served, and their families. We are extremely honoured to receive the Silver Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme in recognition of our work and will strive to promote the importance of the values set out by the Covenant at every opportunity.”

TriCIS are one of thousands of large UK-based organisations who have pledged their commitment to the Covenant. However, the Silver Award is reserved for those who have specifically demonstrated a positively open and active attitude towards the armed forces community as part of their recruitment processes and to ensure that no service personnel are left  disadvantaged due to their commitment to serve.

Operations Director and RAF Verteran, Martin Edwards says, “With more than a quarter of our workforce having served in the armed forces, this cause, and our commitment to it remains at the very top of our corporate values agenda. We will continue to do our utmost to ensure we offer fair opportunities to all service personnel in the future.”
